get error on 1200 with tf1260  resload_loadkick devs:kickstarts/kick40063.a600

This game has been on my radar for some time. In addition to 5mg Games, I have another channel interested in getting to know your game in Live, along with your audience: Cosmic Effect. I would like to know if a copy is possible for both of us to know your game.

In fact, Eric is already playing Kroghar on the Cosmic Effect channel on Twitch.

Great game. There's a bit of Barbarian meets Golden Axe and Tiger Road!

Any chance for a diagonal jump, with or without attack?

What do you mean by "diagonal jump"? I thought there is one in the game. Also, you can  attack while doing it... :D
Is your joystick broken, or do I just misunderstand completely what you mean by that? :D If yes, then sorry.. ;)

I can't download CD32 iso or any other archive. I bought the game on release day and I have it in my library

Are you sure? Seems everybody else can...
Hmm, have you tried logging out and logging in again?

Relogging solved the problem. Download button appeared. Thank you!

Great to hear... :) Have fun, mate!

Great and violent game. Reminds me of Barbarian with that head bouncing. I added it to my new video with other recently released games. Hope you like the video.

Thanks, mate!

Love the Game !!!!

The Game seems to run fine of the floppy on my A1200 with TF1260. But the WhdLoad on TF1260 does not work at all. On A1200 with Pistorm CM4 the game runs well. But I do miss the F10 to quit the Game.

Hello, the game first stage works well on my A1200 but it freeze before the beginning of the second stage. The music is still playing though.

could you check it out ?
ThanksGame freeze on A1200

Hey mate... Is this happening each and every time you play it? :)

One more question, do you use ADF on a real disk or WhdLoad? :)

(1 edit)

Hello, i reinstalled the Adf on another disk and now it plays fine.

Sorry for the trouble.

Thanks

Ah, that's what I supposed might be wrong.. It's fascinating, how many people have the weirdest little glitches and bugs happening just because of disks..

Glad it's working now, mate... :)

Is this PAL only?

(+1)

I have tested it in UAE under NTSC, and it runs... Just everything is moving a little bit fast. And you need acceleration or you will get frame drops.

Awesome beam 'em up with lots of blood, beer and impressive graphics, parallax scrolling and controls that almost match the Psygnosis standard. Golden Axe meets Barbarian! It's just a shame there's no two-player mode or save options. By the way, the game only works on OCS Amigas without additional disk drives. Our German-language review can be found in our recorded livestream starting at 01:12:11. English subtitles are also available. Subscription to our YouTube and Twitch channel is welcome. 🙂

Thanks, mate... :) Was a pleasure to watch you playing it... ;)

The game doesn't works on Apollo Vampire V4SA under AOS3.2.3 (CORE10000)

Working on a fix there...Stay tuned! :)

Great game

<3 thanks for creating a video about it and the kind words, mate... :)

@Tigerskunk If we buy the boxed version, are we going to be eligible for future updates and where can we get them from?

PS. Thanks for dedication and your excellent games.

Yes, off course... Polyplay has a database with your email addresses if you order something in the their shop, and will send you any updates happening after the physical edition got released.

That said, I will try to get every issue solved before the physical edition is release to avoid having people different versions on their media from the final one.

I bought your game during the reveal and it looks awesome :) However when I try to load the .lha archive via A600GS (AmiberryLite) it does not work. Any help would be appreciated.

I am on it, mate... :) Will ask the GS600 guys... :)

Hey E5150, first off thanks for buying the game... :)
Do you have a FB account and can you write me there? Wanna solve this problem..

(1 edit)

I sent you a message on FB.

Of course. Please do!

I have a little idea here... There should be a file just called "krogharr" in the lha that's 794kb. Copy this unto your hard disk, and start it from the CLI/Shell.

Should start and run. Please report back, if that worked... :)

Join us tonight at 8pm (UK). as we live stream a brand new Amiga game for June 2025 - Krogharr - kindly provided by its developer for review.

<3 Thanks a lot, Jamie! I feel quite honoured.. :)

you are very welcome. A great game.

Great game, thanks.

<3 Much love for those kind words, mate... :)

Thanks for this excellent Amiga game, is it possible to support 2nd button gamepad for jump ?

will put this into my todo list for the update... :)

Hey, would you like me to review it on my channel?

Awesome game!

<3

Hey, I hope you don't mind, but I placed Krogharr in the top 100 Amiga homebrew games of all time

I feel honored, mate... Thanks a lot... :)

My pleasure 😀

Jamie, would you like to do a video about the finished game, when it comes out?

Absolutely, I would for sure.

Great... :)
I will contact you on Facebook when the time arrives... :)

(+1)

That's a very nice game!

Will there be a physical release?

(+2)

Yep, like last time Poly.Play will do a boxed set with all bells and whistles.. :)

That's just great! Thanks!!!

very good

Hello, very nice video.

It would be great if the bouncing severed heads collided with advancing enemies, immobilizing them for a few frames. Do you have any other “fatalities” planned?

Best wishes for further development, and happy holidays.
Peter.

Convert in SNES / Sega Megadrive too.

SNES could actually be a possiblity.. I am learning a bit about coding there at the moment.. Megadrive is a no (at the moment)... I don't really have any nostalgic connection to that console.. I perfectly understand other people are loving it, though... ;)

Great !

Is there any update on this project, as it seems to be frozen?

Ooops, actually a lot happened in the meantime. Seems I need to update this page as well..
Thanks for pointing this out to me... :)

Planned release for this game is in the evening on the 3rd of November on Amiga Bill's show... :)

Thanks!  I'll post the news on Lemon. ;)

Is target release now April 2025?

Very nice game with damn good graphics and clean parallax scrolling, which is graphically very reminiscent of the Psygnosis games like "Shadow of the Beast 3" and "Agony". Unfortunately, the difficulty level is quite high and there are not enough extras to increase energy yet. Our German-language review can be found in our recorded livestream starting at 02:08:04. Subscription to our YouTube or Twitch channel is welcome. 🙂

Thanks for the kind words, Radio Paralax.. Hope you will like the final game when it's done..

The demo looks good and promising, keep up the good work. I also added this to my "Gameplay of New Amiga Games from March 2024" video.

Thanks for the support, Dino... :)
Hope you will like the final game..

I'm very impressed with it so far. Some cracking graphics and great sound effects. My thoughts are in my new video, with some suggestions as well.

Thanks, Jetsetwilly... :) Looks like you had some fun.. Plus some good ideas... Feedback is always welcome...

Loving the Demo. Love a good Arcade hack and slash!! The hazey backgrounds are very Psygnosis style which I love!  Posted it on my channel for others to see. Hope it does well for you!

Hey Tudave, that's nice of you. Thanks for the kind words.. Especially the Psygnosis one. They are a kind of my idols... :)

Fantastic game Tigerskunk! Your game presents a captivating blend of awesome pixelated graphics and very good sound design. It's got challenging gameplay and engages the player

Keep up the good work

Happy to see your video, ransom... :)

Great Demo. I like it:

Super, danke dir! :)

Show post...

Ich danke Dir für die tolle Demo. 😉

Awesome game!

Thanks for the video, my friend... :)

Very nice demo. It runs on 512k chip 512k fast A500 as long as you disable extra drives. I tried it with df1 connected in WinUAE and got the message "unable to load h: error code 103". I guess its pretty tight on memory.

True, the game needs really every last byte in memory.

some bugs from loading from startup, only let me play running from workbench or else it freeze running on an A4000

Any way its so addictive I only stopped playing when I ended the game.

this game it's a awesome really, only downloaded today :)

Thanks for the kind words, my friend... :)

What CPU or accelerator does your 4000 have inside? :)

Haha, seeing this only now...Great job, Sergio!

thanks :)

Great graphics. Promises fun gameplay. Would like to have a display for the intermediate and final enemies to show how many hits they still need until they are flattened.

Yep, that would be helpful.  I will look into it! :)

Beer!

Krogharr!!!!

Looks great!!! Looking forward to it!

Looks like fun! I'm ready to buy!

Hope you will like it, mate... ;)
